WebSpeed Workshop allows developers to rapidly create highly scalable, business applications that process large volumes of transactions over the Internet.

WebSpeed Workshop balances productivity with flexibility by allowing developers to create multi-page Internet Transaction Processing (ITP) applications with little or no coding, significantly cutting development time while preserving the ability to customize an application.

WebSpeed Workshop combines a visual toolset, packaged Web objects and a scripting language (SpeedScript) specially purposed for Internet applications to create a highly productive development environment. With the AppBuilder, developers can quickly create complex application interfaces simply by using high-productivity tools for mapping HTML and integrating database information. Developers can draw on a variety of Web objects, ranging in scale from HTML interfaces to SmartDataObjects and CGI Wrappers, automating and simplifying much of the development process. WebTools help developers work more efficiently by letting them write code, check syntax, view database schema information, and monitor the Web server environment through an intuitive interface.
